    There is a common misperception in Western society that China is mainly a manufacturing hub for cheap products. In reality however, China is quickly becoming a global leader in developing technological innovations and successfully transforming them into business models.

     

    Today, 9 of the 20 most valuable technology firms globally are based in China and is likely to surpass the United States as the premier destination for venture capital funding.

     

    In contrast to the pace and magnitude of advancements in Chinese tech and entrepreneurship remains largely underreported.
